Terms of Use

Ampsheet is a reference and calculation tool for electrical work. It is not an engineering service, and nothing it produces is a sealed or approved document. You are responsible for verifying every result before relying on it.

Acceptance
By installing or using Ampsheet you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app, and cancel any subscription through the store you subscribed with.
What Ampsheet is
Ampsheet performs electrical calculations from values you enter, and cites article numbers so you can look them up in your own copy of the applicable code.
It is a reference tool. It is not an engineering service, a design service, a code-compliance service, or a substitute for the judgment of a licensed professional.
Ampsheet does not reproduce the text of any electrical code. Article citations are provided so you can consult the code yourself.
What Ampsheet is not
Nothing produced by the app is an engineering document. Every exported sheet is marked FIELD NOTES and NOT FOR CONSTRUCTION.
No output is sealed, stamped, reviewed or approved by a licensed professional engineer.
No output is a permit application, a construction submittal, or a substitute for drawings prepared and sealed by a qualified professional where your jurisdiction requires them.
Exported sheets are intended for field reference, coordination and RFI communication only.
Your responsibilities
You are solely responsible for the values you enter and for the use you make of the results.
You must verify every result against the code edition adopted in your jurisdiction, any local amendments, and the actual nameplate data of the equipment involved.
You must not rely on the app for any purpose requiring a licensed professional unless a qualified professional has independently reviewed and accepted the result.
Codes change, jurisdictions amend them, and the app may not reflect the edition that applies to your work.
License
An active subscription grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Ampsheet on devices you own or control, subject to the rules of the store you subscribed with. The license lasts as long as the subscription does.
You may not resell, redistribute, decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the underlying data or calculation logic, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.
Subscription
Ampsheet is a subscription, offered monthly or annually through the app store you installed it from — Google Play on Android, the App Store on iOS. The price and billing period are shown in the app before you subscribe.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the start of each period until cancelled. Cancel any time — on Android in Google Play under Payments and subscriptions, on iOS in Settings under your name, then Subscriptions. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Prices may change. Any change applies from your next renewal, never retroactively, and the store notifies you before it takes effect.
Refunds are handled by the store under its own policy, not by Wire Monkey Labs LLC.
If a subscription lapses, everything you have created stays on your device. Ampsheet stops opening it until the subscription is restarted — nothing is deleted.
Ampsheet checks with the store periodically. If it cannot reach the store it keeps working for a limited period on the last answer it received, so a lost signal does not interrupt your work.
No professional relationship
Using Ampsheet does not create an engineer-client, contractor-client, or any other professional relationship between you and Wire Monkey Labs LLC.
Wire Monkey Labs LLC does not provide engineering services and does not review, approve or certify any work you perform.
Third-party marks
NEC and National Electrical Code are registered trademarks of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). NEMA is a trademark of the National Electrical Manufacturers Association.
Wire Monkey Labs LLC is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by NFPA, NEMA, or any standards body. References to code articles are descriptive only.
No warranty
Ampsheet is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Wire Monkey Labs LLC does not warrant that the calculations, data, or citations are accurate, current, complete, or suitable for any particular application.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wire Monkey Labs LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, business, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of Ampsheet, whether based in contract, tort, strict liability or any other theory, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of Wire Monkey Labs LLC arising out of or relating to Ampsheet shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Your data
Everything you create in Ampsheet — panels, risers, markups, photos and settings — is stored on your device and nowhere else. Wire Monkey Labs LLC has no access to it and cannot recover it.
Uninstalling the app deletes it. You are responsible for exporting anything you want to keep.
Changes
These Terms may be updated. Material changes will be shown in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in the State of Texas.
