The short version

Wire Monkey Labs LLC does not collect, transmit, sell, share or store any personal information from Ampsheet.

There is no account to create, nothing to sign in to, and no server for your work to be sent to.

The app makes exactly two kinds of network request, and neither one carries anything you have entered: it asks the app store whether your subscription is active, and it asks Expo whether a newer version of Ampsheet is available. Both are described below.

What stays on your device

Panel schedules, riser drawings, markups, notes, saved settings and any photos you attach are written to your device’s local storage.

They are never uploaded. They are readable only by the app on that device.

Exported PDFs are saved to your device. If you share one, you choose where it goes.

Camera and photo access

Ampsheet asks for camera and photo library permission only so you can attach site photos to a field survey. Photos are stored locally alongside the survey and are never uploaded.

You can decline the permission and the rest of the app works normally.

Subscription payments

Ampsheet is sold as a subscription through the app store you installed it from — Google Play on Android, the App Store on iOS. Payment is handled entirely by the store; Wire Monkey Labs LLC never sees your card, bank or payment details.

The app asks the store whether your subscription is active and stores the answer on this device so it keeps working without a signal. That exchange carries a transaction record only — no panels, schedules, drawings or photos.

Wire Monkey Labs LLC receives sales reports from the store containing no information that identifies you.

Software updates

Ampsheet can receive corrections to its calculations and code data without a full store update. To make that work, the app asks our update provider, Expo, whether a newer version exists. This happens when the app launches.

That request carries three things: the operating system the app is running on, the project identifier for Ampsheet, and a random token that tells the update service whether this installation has already asked. It does not carry a hardware identifier, an advertising ID, an account, or anything you have entered into the app. No panels, schedules, drawings, photos or settings are involved.

We call that token out specifically, because Google Play classifies it. Its Data safety section defines “Device or other IDs” to include identifiers that relate to an individual app installation, not only to a device — so Ampsheet’s Play listing declares that it collects a Device or other ID, for app functionality. Apple’s App Privacy labels declare the same token, as an Identifier used for app functionality, not linked to you and not used for tracking. That declaration refers to this token and nothing else. It is random, it is tied to an installation rather than to you, it is never used for analytics, advertising or tracking, and it is not shared onward.

The exchange is over HTTPS and is governed by Expo’s privacy policy, not this one. Wire Monkey Labs LLC does not receive the request and keeps no record of it.

Diagnostics

Wire Monkey Labs LLC does not operate any analytics or crash-reporting service.

Apple and Google may collect crash and performance data at the operating-system level under their own policies, and may share aggregated reports with developers. You can control that in your device settings. It is governed by their privacy policies, not this one.

Children

Ampsheet is a professional tool intended for adults working in the electrical trades. It is not directed at children and Wire Monkey Labs LLC does not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Changes

This policy may be updated. Any change that affects how information is handled will be shown in the app before it takes effect.
